About the Egg Washing & Drying Unit.
Our Egg Washing & Drying Unit is a dedicated machine for cleaning and drying eggs to meet food safety and hygiene standards. It comes in two versions: the EW-100 water washer, which uses hot water and oscillating brushes, and the DEW-100 dry-brush washer, which cleans without water where a dry process is preferred.
The system includes an infeed conveyor with 2-lane oriental unit for egg feeding (manual or pneumatic egg lifter), a pre-washing unit with oscillating soft nylon brushes and specially designed nozzles, a final washing unit with fresh hot water, a recirculation tank (250-litre capacity) with heater set at 40-45°C, a dryer section with air knife nozzles for complete drying from top and sides, a recirculation pump with suction filter to prevent debris from entering nozzles, temperature cut-off sensors, collection table, and a Delta HMI/PLC/VFD/Motor powder-coated control panel.
All chain, frame, contact parts, and guarding are manufactured in SS-304. Optional add-ons include a pneumatic egg holder/lifter (30 eggs) and oil spray unit.
